No! Ebikes are easy to use and suitable for beginners. Before the tour, we give a brief introduction to how the bike works.

What is the duration and level of difficulty?

Duration depends on the package: the Essential (Sesimbra) runs 4 hours; the All-Inclusive (from Lisbon) runs approximately 7 hours total including round-trip transfer. Distance is up to ~40km. The Premium Arrábida Full Day runs the entire day. The Sunset Tour runs 2.5 hours. Difficulty is moderate across all tours — the e-bikes do most of the work, but a basic fitness level helps.

What is the minimum age to participate?

The recommended minimum age is 12 years, as long as the child is tall enough to handle the Ebike safely. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Unlike kayak or boat tours that depend on sea conditions, the e-bike experience works in any season — and winter often offers the most spectacular trails: empty paths, dramatic skies and crystal-clear views. We only cancel for heavy rain or strong wind, in which case you can reschedule or take a voucher.
