Deserted beaches of Cabo Espichel

The Sesimbra area presents you with the highest limestone cliffs in Europe, incredible rock formations that have existed for 18 million years and have given way to small paradisiacal beaches located along their shores.

 

The starting point is at the sheltered port of Sesimbra next to the Sesimbra Naval Club where you will embark on a relaxing boat trip along the fantastic coast of the Luiz Saldanha Marine Park full of coves, deserted beaches, the already famous beaches of Ribeiro do Cavalo and the various “Covas” where the fishermen’s boats spent the night during their swordfish fishing trips until reaching the impressive Cabo Espichel.

 

Difficult to access by foot and extremely difficult by water without a motorboat, these little secrets await our visit. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit as you won’t want to miss out on the opportunity to swim in paradise.

 

​Enjoy the fantastic landscape surrounding Praia da Baleeira, Praia do Inferno, Cova da Mijona and the entire imposing coastline.

 

This tour lasts about 3 hours, meaning that in total you will spend at least half a day in Sesimbra. We have two Stand Up Paddle boards and snorkel masks that you can use during the tour.

Do you want to reach one of the most fantastic beaches in Portugal by sea and without a long walk? We can help!

 

Transport from Sesimbra Marina with meeting point next to the access ramp to the sea immediately in front of the Sesimbra Naval Club building or also and only during the bathing season at the access pier on the pontoon in front of the Hotel do Mar (subject to operating under conditions outside the control of Meira Pro Center) heading to Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach, Cova da Mijona Beach and Baleeira Beach.

 

Transport carried out at a pre-defined time, with the possibility of contracting it at an exclusive time with added value.
