Premium Surf Lessons

We are not a traditional surf school. Meira Pro Center offers private and small-group surf sessions designed around you, the daily ocean conditions, and the right spot for your level — Based at Lagoa de Albufeira.

Each session is led by an experienced instructor who reads the swell, wind and crowd for the day and chooses the location accordingly. You get focused coaching, the right equipment, and a real connection with the Atlantic — not a one-size-fits-all class on a busy beach.

Reservations: by request, at least 48 hours in advance. Sessions are subject to favourable conditions and instructor availability.

My friend and I hadn’t kayaked in awhile and it took us awhile to get the hang of it, but he was so helpful in coaching us through the trip. He also gave great recommendations for things to do and eat in Lisbon! The beach was absolutely beautiful and we could not have had a better experience! An absolute must-do when visiting Lisbon!

I was driven to the location by Roggi (my spelling may be wrong) he got us there safely also offering fun facts along the way which was a pleasant experience for so early in the morning. Afonso was our kayak guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, very grateful we got him as a guide as he gave us the best service, fun facts, great conversation, and wonderful experiences while also making sure it was documented for us to look back on. Gabriel took us back to drop off zone, he got us there safely and very appreciative of that and everyone who made my Portugal experience worthwhile!!!

Alfonso was the BEST- friendly, kind, professional, and provided the best recs. A wonderful kayak tour from Sesimbra around the coastline to Praia Ribeiro do Cavalo, and visiting interesting bays along the way. The kayaking with Luís was more than looking into sea caves and looking at marine life, but about the history and way of life of the locals.
